親愛弟兄姊妹，
根據中國人的新年傳統習俗，過年前要清潔居所，以掃走一切的倒霉，在新年期間也流傳不同的傳說，以避免新一年行衰運。感謝神，我們不再生活在那些迷信之中。聖經很清楚的教導：「若有人在基督裏，他就是新造的人，舊事已過，都變成新的了。」 （哥後5:17）。我們相信耶穌，已經是神祂的孩子了（約1:12），不再受那些詛咒困擾，這是我們作為基督孩子的信心。阿們！那麼，這個新年需要做的最好的事情是什麼？
1. 抽出時間，感謝神在2020年對我們所做的一切。
我們當中可能有些人會說2020年沒有甚麼要感謝神，那是不對的，因為只要我們回想，便會發現更多在我們的生活、家庭、工作、人際關係和面對疫情的挑戰。
「我要一心稱謝耶和華，傳揚你一切奇妙的作為。」（詩9:1)
2. 祝福我們的家人、朋友和許多的人
農曆新年是與家人和朋友團聚的日子，這是一個非常好和值得保留的傳統。神呼召我們愛人，就像我們愛自己一樣。 (馬12:31)。就在這個新年，尋找仍未信主的人，祝福他並讓祂認識耶穌。
3. 對我們在2020年所做的事情進行反思
列出屬靈清單並展望2021年，尋求生命的轉化，在基督裡活出更好。
「讓我們省察，檢討自己的行為，歸向耶和華吧！」(哀3:40)
4. 現在是時候實現與神的關係了
現實的生活充滿著挑戰，正如約翰福音10:10「盜賊來，無非要偷竊、殺害、毀壞。」這是撒旦要進攻的主要工作，傷害我們 …… 但是耶穌接續說：「我來了，是要羊得生命，並且得的更豐盛。」阿們！
「所以，我親愛的弟兄們，你們務要堅固，不可動搖，常常竭力多做主工，
因為你們知道，你們在主裏的勞苦不是徒然的。」(林前15:58)
今天我們要宣告，在2021年要得著從耶穌基督而來的豐盛。
BLESSED CHINESE NEW YEAR!
Washing clothes, using scissors and sweeping floors are some of the easier omens to sidestep. However, parents might find it difficult to dodge crying children and – on the more extreme end of the scale – women might find it difficult to avoid leaving the house all day.
According to Chinese superstition, doing any of these on Feb 12 – the day Chinese New Year falls in 2021 – will lead to bad luck for the entire coming year.
But thank be to God, Because we are no longer living on those superstitions. The bible is very on clear on his teaching about it,
“If anyone in Christ he is a new creation the old has gone and the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17). You are no longer covered by those Curses because you believe in Jesus you are now His child [John 1:12]. This is the confidence we have as Christ children’s. Amen!
So what are the best things you need to do this New Year?
1. Spend time to thank God for what he has done to you in 2020.
Some of us may say I have nothing to thank God for 2020. That is not true because you have a lot if you just think of it. Your life, your family, your job, your relationship. Of course overcoming the challenges of Covid 19.
Psalm 9:1
I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
2. Bless your family, friends and people.
Chinese New Year is time to be reunited with family and friends – this a very Good traditions worth keeping until The last breath of this generations. God calls us to love people as we love ourselves. [Mark 12:31]. Find a person not yet a believers and bless them this CNY by bringing them to Jesus.
3. Do reflections on what you have done in the year 2020.
having spiritual inventory is the best move to forward for 2021. Make changes in the course of your life and make it even more better. [Lamentations 3:40] “Let us examine and probe our ways, and let us return to the Lord.”
4. Its time to get real with your relationship with God.
Challenges is a reality of life. As long you. Are alive, challenges will always be there. As [John 10:10] “The enemy has come to steal, to kill and to destroy.” This is Satan’s major job to attacked, and hurt you and me… But scripture continue “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Amen!
[1 Corinthians 15:58] “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
We have this words today to declare to all of you. May you receive the fullness of Jesus this year of 2021 – Happy Chinese Year every one .
