“Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death and of faith in God,” (Hebrew 6:1)
The theme of this year is “turn your whole family around to be saved”. How is your progress? I hope everybody can fulfil this vision, bring each family member into God’s kingdom and glory to God.
May be you still think bring family member to be saved is a difficult thing. I shall explain here:
According to Jesus, every family was under the control of devil: “When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe. 22 But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up his plunder.” (Luke 11:21-22)
How to bring people to Christ? The method before was to spread the gospel, be a good witness, invite family member to go to church. But many people are not successful. Or maybe they accomplished a little bit in 10 years.
Our understanding now is that family member was bound by the devil and has spiritual stronghold so that family member is difficult to believe in Christ. We have to learn from Paul, his aim was to bring people from darkness into brightness. “I (Jesus) am sending you (Paul) to them 18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’”(Acts 26:18).
Not long after Paul was saved he started to spread the gospel. He has had some difficulties, but he led many people to Christ and entered into great revival. We can also be like Paul and save people from devil’s control.
1. Receive healing and deliverance
After we are saved, we have to heal our hurt. We have to be deliv ered from the control of evil spirit.
2. To grow
Through each day’s Bible reading, praying and worship, our life will grow and have victory over devil’s doing.
3. Receive training and pray for family member
We have to be stronger, not only did we ourselves have victory but also have victory over family problem and human relations.
Therefore, please come to Spiritual Classroom to receive training, so that your spiritual life can grow and become a stronger person. We rely on God and have victory over difficult situations, overcome the world and release family member to God. Amen!
