Lived in the Righteousness of Christ!

"I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, Isaiah 42:6

Job 17:9 Nevertheless, the righteous will hold to their ways, and those with clean hands will grow stronger.

Whatever be your accomplishment in your life you may be a Doctor of Theology, Master of Divinity or no matter what you accomplished in your life…cannot said that he is righteous, Don’t get me wrong here… .But what I mean is that… in your own you cannot declare you are righteous. But because of what Jesus has done on the cross, he has imputed His righteousness to you. The word “impute” means “to pass to one’s account, to count over” It means that Jesus places His righteousness upon our record when we trust upon Him for salvation. “God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God”.2Cor5:21. That means that you become “justified” “declared not guilty”. Here’s another thing that God has done to you. God has “imparted His righteousness” for you to be sanctified- to lived differently from the people of this world. Sanctified – set apart- live with holiness unto the Lord. “Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires” 2 Peter 1:4

Now with these two great things that God has done in our life why is it that still many people living in a lie, living in sin, compromise truth from lies. You know why? Because they have chosen it. Is this their destiny? No! It is the result of sin. “But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." Rev. 21:8

Praise the Lord now you have a choice and a power to respond to the call of the Lord “I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, Isaiah 42:6. you will be saved from the coming destruction:

Your response to his call now empowers you to live in Righteousness not in compromise. And be saved!
