Come forth, brethren, For, lo, the winter is past, the spring rain showers the land. Break up your fallow ground. Plow hard and diligently seek His face. Put your hand to the plough, and don't look back. Give all diligence to plow your land.
Be alert, watch and prayer, wait on Him , serve, worship and pray for our spiritual life, our spiritual home with the mind of Christ, and sow seeds that will bring a good harvest for the whole year of 2025.
The lines are fallen unto us in pleasant places; yea, we have a goodly heritage. Our church is not only a place of meeting, but also an altar, a place of prayer and worship, a place of sacrificial offering unto God, a place of God's presence, and we are truly blessed. First and foremost, may our altar be sanctified by God, the Father, and preserved in Christ Jesus. I remember that at the Power House in November, a speaker said that he was jealous that our church is an altar. We put that to our remembrance. However, the speaker's words reflect that most churches in Hong Kong do not have an altar and do not give themselves to prayers, worships and offerings. Therefore, we should be thankful to God for Sunrise House of Prayer. By His grace, that we partake in building the altar of prayer and worship, in sweet meditation of Jesus, in fellowship with the body of Christ.
"The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add firewood and arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat of the fellowship offerings on it.The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out." (NIV Leviticus 6:12-13)
So now during the morning prayer time from 7-9 am, we have started to share message we received from the Bible by faith and prayers during the morning prayer, so that this blessing can flow out from the altar and nourish more spiritual lives.
We invite you to attend our morning sacrifice and be a holy priest and offer sacrifices to God.
In addition to the fire of morning prayers, in Lev 6:13, it is also mentioned that there will be unceasing fire on the altar, which will not be quenched. So the fire of prayer should not only be in the morning, but should continue through all the hours of the day.
Therefore, we have begun to offer altar worship classes, such as harp classes and keyboard classes, in order to encourage more brothers and sisters to worship God with musical instruments and then come to the altar to offer worship sacrifices.
In addition, the Prayer School will be coming soon, and various prayer courses will be offered, in order to train and raise up priests who seek God's will.
God dwell in the high and holy place, with Him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
May the Lord give us grace to set our heart to seek Him. We pray that Hong Kong will become a port of harp and bowl and an altar of blessing for the restoration of Hong Kong and Asia in Christ.
