PRAYER DAY101 ENG-01 (3).jpg

The Hong Kong Day of Prayer Oct 1st 2018

This year, the event’s advisory group is formed by several senior pastors in the city, which include Rev. Gary Shek Kin-wah, the Chairperson, Mr. Andrew Yuen ManFai, the Vice Chairperson, as well as its committee members: Rev. David Wang, Rev. Dennis Balcombe, Rev. John Lau, Rev. John Snelgrove, Mr. Hugo Chan Sai-keung and Rev. James Chak. The Blessing Hong Kong Revival Team (BHKRT) and Sunrise Ministry also jointly organizes it.  The purpose of hosting this event is to strengthen the prayer movement in the city.

The Hong Kong Day of Prayer October 1st  was originated in 2010. This was the year when the 7th Global Prayer Day ended, but then God touched the hearts of pastors in Hong Kong for a city-wide united prayer meeting. With the support by the BHKRT, we started off the Hong Kong Day of Prayer in 2016. We also gained support from Mrs. Linda Ma who called believers from various denominations to gather once every year for 12-hour non-stop worship and prayers for the blessing in the city and country and for bringing forth revival in Hong Kong. In 2017, our team hosted this event the 2nd year, with over 8,000 people to gather in the Noah’s Ark and Prayer at districts for united prayers
