Thank God for his protection and blessing, October 1 Hong Kong Day of Prayer has finished well. Thank you for all the brothers and sisters who have given all their efforts. You have not only prayed but also worked hard from morning to evening to contribute to God’s kingdom. God will reward all of you (Matthew 6:6)
Maybe people will ask if this kind of prayer is effective. In the beginning of this year I have written a message, it is about the revelation of 777. Many people misunderstood that 777 is a blessing. But 777 is to remind mankind that disaster is near, we have to be alert and pray. Several arrangement of this year’s day of prayer has shown that God is willing to bring Hong Kong people out of disaster and to be rescued.
First, the venue we have chosen was Noah’s Ark. We have made all the effort to apply for bigger and better place but were not successful. And Noah’s Ark was our only way out. But it was just Noah’s Ark which brought out the meaning of rescue of the flood and rescued the whole family.
Secondly, we received the scripture Psalms 111:9 which also mentioned, “He provided redemption for his people;” it is also rescue, God provided redemption for his people so that we can avoid disasters.
Relatively, the number one country in the world—America, had received numerous disasters since the end of August. At end of August, super typhoon attacked the southern part of America. The second biggest city Houston was flooded. 70,000 people suffered from the flood. At that time we were having Zhao Yongji conference. We have 5 sessions of prayers attended by thousands of people. This made Asia has different encounter from America. At the beginning of September America was attacked by another super typhoon. This typhoon forced America to announce 7,500,000 people have to withdraw from Florida. It seemed it was a great disaster that has never experienced before. Last week, one day after we finished October 1 Hong Kong Day of Prayer, America has the worst shootings. In Las Vegas 60 people were killed and more than 500 were injured.
I think these things are not by accident, it is because of men’s sin. Once there was a person who asked Jesus about disasters: “Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. 2 Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way?” (Luke 13:1-2) “Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem?”(Luke 13:4)
Jesus’ answer is: “unless you repent, you too will all perish.” (Luke 13:3,5)
Dear brothers and sisters! We have to quickly repent and pray for our city, church, ourselves and our families. Otherwise judgment will come and may God speak to you all. Amen!
