I have just come back from Eastern Europe where I have had some history lessons, including how Germany changed from a defeated country into a strong country and produced many brand name products, including Benz, BMW and Porsche, double-man brand kitchen tools and multipurpose oil, etc.
China has gone through many tough days but in many areas China is now ahead of the world. E.g. Huawei mobile phone, it installed a Germany leica lens so it is technically comparable with Samsung and i phone.
Huawei is ahead of the world. According to some people’s analysis, it is because staff can share 98% of the company’s profit. Besides, the company emphasizes on creativity, many resources was put on research. The company was very strict in annual employee appraisal. Nobody just because of their long years’ service can keep their position. This means youth people and newly employed staff can because of their personal effort and research be appreciated by the company.
In the same way, our church today has to have more vitality and goes ahead of the other churches. We also have to put resources for development. It is this kind of forward looking serving bring Huawei ahead of the world.
Today’s churches really have to work hard in development, with knowledge we have to pay attention to team work and encourage young people to obey, to become a church that is Christ-like. To use the creativity of youth, the church is renewed day by day, to be more Christ like.
Unfortunately, we still have certain old mindset which blocked us. For those ‘old’ believers which are saved long time ago, if their lives are not renewed, they will be like what Jesus said, “many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.” Those brothers and sisters who fall behind have to repent and be renewed. Those who are in front don’t be prideful. Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.
