Next week is HK Day of Prayer, it is for all of us to participate, many people will gather together at Noah’s Ark to pray in unity. Sunrise brothers and sisters do not miss this opportunity to bless the city. It is not for ourselves but for the kingdom of God.
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33)
In addition, Prayer Day is held at Noah’s Ark for two years has God’s special meaning. Last year I received the revelation about 777 represent Noah’s father Lamech’s age when he died. Five years after he died the flood came. Jesus said in the end time and when he came back again it is like Noah’s time.
“As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.”(Matthew 24:37-39)
As a result, last year there were many disasters on the earth. U.S.A. had supertyphoon, huge fire, rainstorm, snow.. Hong Kong has typhoon Hato, and four Sundays stopped service because of typhoons. Certainly this year we face typhoon Mangkhut. Many places in the city were destructed. We cannot refuse to admit the terror of the end times. But Jesus has provided an exit:
“Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath”(Matthew 24:20). Because of his chosen people, in the disaster God gives mercy: “For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.” (Matthew 24:21-22)
Therefore, at the annual Day of Prayer, it is not a gathering but we have to use Jesus’ promise to call for mercy, he has said, “ “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” (Matthew 18:19)
Brothers and sisters, apart from your participation, what is better, is to serve and invite more people to participate.
May God use mightily you, Amen!
