This week we are all surprised by the sudden death of the one of our faithful Pastor in Gapan – Rosie. She has been with us since 2010 August. Was trained and discipled her at Sunrise under pastor Rey supervision. Rosie was one of the pioneers of our Saturday Group together with Dj now in Hawaii, Myla still with us and Abby who also now in Philippines. 2014 Dec She decided to go back to Philippines with the heart to start Sunrise. Finally, August 2015 Sunrise Gapan started with her family at her home. Within 4 years we have baptized over 250 believers. Praise the Lord! Sunrise will surely miss Rosie a faithful woman of God. This word of Paul would clearly described Rosie – “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain”. (Philippians 1:21). Now Rosie am sure gain her life back in Jesus.
When you hear this Kind of things happened? What do you think God is reminding You? To me it is a reminder that life is fragile. So, you have to handle it with prayer. No one knows when will be the time that our life clock will stop ticking. But the good things once you live your life in full obedience to the Lord. Then you are living your life for Christ! Keep it up! Because in Christ you can always gain your life back – no loss! “in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8: 37-39)
Talking about living in Christ –living in obedience. That means that when God ask you to do something, even though you don’t like, because God says it then you just do it.
Is there anything God has ask you to obey? This Week we are going to have the Kick off for the fund raising “Building God Temple”. We need to raise at least 3M for the moving and decoration of the New Sanctuary of Jesus and to restore back Lai Kee. We know that God really want us to move. Would you do something for this need and build His temple? May God bless everyone of you as you obey God in your life.
