In about 16 days we will be having Hong Kong Day of Prayer. At this time of challenges, Hong Kong really needs our prayer, your prayer.
I call all our people at Sunrise to participate, in prayer, fasting and even to supporting in finances for this event. Or help us promote using every channels you have. Challenges for Hong Kong is big, but we know our God is always bigger than this challenges. He is a faithful Father in heaven who always watching us and know all the thing going on in our City. We love our city we should care and bless it, in prayer and in charity. “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:13.
Things we can do to bless our City and our people.
Love more hate less, “In your anger do not sin”[a]: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold. Eph 4:26-27. This is a holy reminder from the Lord. We might be angry on anything and on anyone. But remember the scripture said “do not give the devil a chance to use you. You are wiser than the devil you will not let yourself being trapped by devil’s tactics. With love you can win them all. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8 (NIV). The Lord admonition is for us to love deeply from the heart. What does it mean? The Bible has the clear answer how to love deeply from the heart. 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1Corinthians 13:4-7. What else we say, Loving deeply is putting all the fruits of the Spirit into actions towards your neighbors and enemy. If the world we live in is full of love it would be amazing
Give more receive less. – Some people they reverse the Scripture, Jesus said it is more blessed to give than to receive , but the world told it this way It is more blessed to receive than to give. 35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”Acts 20:35. In God’s economy the more you give the more you will receive Hallelujah! There are many people hurting, needing attention, lost. Would you give them time? Would you give them Jesus? Would you give them encouragement ? Would give them money , help or anything? You will surely be bless once you do it! Give more! Hallelujah.
