Its December, the last month of 2019. We still have one month to prepare for coming 2020. Have you got your plans, things you like to accomplish in your life, family, business, jobs, ministry?
Just to remind you God has called us into actions. OR maybe some of us will response with doubt. But yeah, God indeed calls us to add action into our faith. The Bible has so many encouragements when it comes to doing. LET US take James words, “But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. (James 2:18). It is impossible for you to say you love God and not doing anything.
Here are a few guidelines for you to prepare for coming 2020.
You start by revisiting your life goal or purpose. Your goal will guide you. Knowing what you want to accomplished is primary important. - The bible is clear, Moses knew exactly what his purpose why the Lord calls him. “But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth” (Exodus 9:16). SO Moses set his mind soul and to help the Israelites from the hands of Pharaoh and lead them into freedom. How about you do you have a clear purpose in your life?
Do a self-reflection of what you have done so far? Or simply answer the question, where are you at right now? Checking how did you do so far, in your life, relationship, business, job, and spiritual life. Your answer to this question can help you a lot to move forward. IF you cannot answer this question. IT only means something; you do not know what you are doing in your life. - That is not right. If you have this problem, you can talk to us. Or your disciple group leader as you really need help.
Commit to do something: after you have done your reflections, you really have to do something. Make adjustment and improved the things that is working, while totally garbage the things that are not. Don’t expect to change your life. If you will not do something now!
These are very practical things you need to do to prepare for 2020, or else your life will not go anywhere. 9 And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Luke 11:9 (ESV)
