This year I have gone up to the peak of Lion Rock several times. On the third time, the revelation I received is that Sunrise will enter abundance this year, the reasons are simple.
1. God is the almighty God
“for the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name.”(Luke 1:49) We believe in the almighty God, and He is for us.
2. God wants no one to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9) God wishes many to come to Christ every day, including our families, friends, colleagues, neighbors and people of all nations.
3. God has accomplished what He has in mind for 2020
On January 26, 2019, Ray Bakke Centre for Urban Transformation pointed out that Christians comprise 20.4%-29.3% of the population in Hong Kong. This is the work of God. He has accomplished the vision of 2020 which we have prayed for since the year 2009.
4. Street evangelism
Our partnership with HK Gospel Festival and HK United Evangelism Ministry send out evangelism teams every day. Dozens to more than 100 people come to Christ every day – a big harvest.
5. Mechanism for multiplication
When God created men, He blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. (Genesis 1:28) World population is now more than 7 billion and keeps growing, which reflected the multiplication mechanism God sets up for men. We have the multiplication DNA within us, and once we trigger it, we would multiply.
So with the start of the new year, I encourage everyone to bring one person to Sunrise International, i.e. a one-on-one multiplication.
