Thank you for all your greetings. I have been back for more than one week, have settled down and started work.
I was asked what I have received during this trip to the US, and I am happy to share with all of you.
In 2017, I wrote an article about ‘Chief Executive Carrie Lam and 777’. The article was carried in Christian newspaper and two local papers. I pointed out that 777 did not mean Carrie Lam was appointed by God, but God was releasing a message about 777.
In the Book of Genesis, Lamech died when he was 777 years old, and the flood came five years after. The Book of Revelation spells out the tribulations – the Seven Seals, the Seven Trumpets and the Seven Bowls. Both events foretell the arrival of disasters.
In 2018, church celebrations stopped unprecedentedly for five times due to typhoons, and now we are also experiencing the same. In 2019, the Anti-Extradition Amendment Bill Movement was a great blow to Hong Kong – people were fighting each other, people were afraid. At the start of this year, the new coronavirus is a greater blow, affecting not only Hong Kong, but China and the world, and the economy is suffering a great blow.
The Lord’s hand is apparent all over the world – the hill fire in Australia, Africa’s locust, and famine will follow. When I was preparing this article, I heard Brazil was suffering from torrential rain, causing traffic to come to a standstill (12/2/2020). At the fourth seal, different disasters will take place at the same time.
“I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.” (Rev 6:8) What is the heart of God at end times? It is to reveal He is coming back. (Matthew 24:3-14) And before He comes, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”(Mathew 24:14)
So disasters are unstoppable through human political, social, or economic actions. On the contrary, Jesus encourages us to spread the Gospel all over the world, i.e. through evangelism and missions, we bring people from nearby and afar into the Kingdom of God to welcome Jesus back.
God has molded Sunrise into an evangelism and missionary group. Sunrise wherever we are, should become a network and bring people into the Kingdom of God. Many churches now have stopped their services and are broadcasting online. Is this a rehearsal for us? We should hurry up to build up networks for the church, build up connections, training and support mission work online so as to bring the fruit to Jesus, glory to Him! Let us wait for Jesus’ return with hope, joy, and go through the tribulations with power.
May God use Sunrise, and let our light shine upon others, amen!
