If Christ come today, do you think, you will be one of that persons that would be caught up in the air and welcome Jesus?
Why I ask this question? This to remind yourself whether you will be with Christ when he returns is a good reminder of the hope that we have as believers of Christ. Without this hope of being with Christ, is unthinkable. But the sad thing, there are many believers doubts about making it to heaven. Does God want this to happen to them? Absolutely not! It’s their sin, that they cannot surrender to the Lord. And not standing firm during hardship and temptation.
Jesus Christ speaking to his disciples in Mark 13, giving warning at the same time teaching them to overcome the hardship that is coming at the end times.
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come. Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back — whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!” (Mark 13:32-37).
My dear brethren, as Jesus has warned us, and teach us BE ON YOUR GUARD! Do not allow yourself, to fall from your secure position in in Christ (2 Peter 3:17).
Keep watch, standing firm, let nothing move you (1Corinthians 15:58). Do not allow difficulties or challenges like this Corona Virus, stop you from trusting God and claiming his promise. Because He who promise is faithful (Hebrews 10:23. Jesus can protect you, save you, and bless you.
Let us continue to pray for the world specially Hong Kong. Pray for every believer in Hong Kong and at our Church to be bolder in sharing Jesus to every unbelieving family, colleagues and friend you have. Living now a days is not easy everywhere; we need Christ to be strong in facing these challenges ahead of us.
