Real believers are being tested in this time of crises. My prayer, all of you will endure to the end. Enduring to end need commitment on our part and the mighty presence of the Holy Spirit to empower us to live to our commitment. There is no way for you to endure to the end apart from the Lord Jesus (John 15:5). Hold on to him call upon his name and he will rescue you. Remember that even you don’t see him working, the fact is working. Even you don’t feel him working, He right there beside you, working.
Enduring to the end, needs you to throw off everything that hinders, and the sin that so easily entangles, (Hebrews 12:1). Walking with many loads on your shoulder will exhaust you of strength. You load of sin, (pride, jealousy, lying, disobeying, laziness, and etc.) this will drain your energy. Take that out of your life. Confess and repent! If you cannot sustain your spiritual life and fall, is scary – this is the most important thing people should be afraid of, not finishing the race that Christ set for us and not Covid19.
Enduring to the end, need your perseverance (Heb.12:1c). To persevere is to endure hardship you face every day- like what the world are facing now. To persevere is to keep working your hope, faith and love. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. (Heb 10:36).
Enduring to the end need you to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, (Hebrew 12:2). Looking at Jesus keeps your hope alive- because he is the source of all the hope you. have. Fixing your eyes on Jesus keeps you away from any temptation. Fixing your eyes on Jesus, assures you right direction and guidance. Without you will lose your way.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” (Hebrews 12:1-3)
Enduring to the end- do not let the fear of Covid19- sets in your heart- but with hope, and with believe in the name of Jesus, Covid19 go away!
