A third wave of Corona Virus has been affected HK. Hong Kong has recorded 132 new Covid-19 cases in the past week, with 65 locally transmitted infections. A group of infections at an elderly centre in Tsz Wan Shan accounts for 32 of the local cases, while more than a dozen cases are tied to a cluster involving a congee and noodle shop in Ping Shek Estate and a restaurant in Jordan, including six taxi drivers.
With this new wave, we would request everyone to be vigilant, take an extra care. And we should be wearing mask during our worship services this somehow protect yourself and others. However, the best protection we have is always the Lord Jesus. His blood is powerful enough to protect Sunrise brethren from this Covid 19.
This week many of us received a blessing from the government. Praise the Lord! This is really a big help to everyone of us. But I would like to encourage you, that no matter what expenses you have, please don’t forget to bless the Lord too. Either you give the 100% because you have so much already, or the 80%, 50%, or at least 20%. Let me just encourage you from the Word of God in Proverbs 3: 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the first fruits of all your harvest; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.
In God’s economy the more you give the more you will be blessed. But of course not just with money. But most all our protection from Covid19, (Psalms 91) protection from your business and many things. “I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the LORD Almighty. (Malachi 3:11).
I challenge you my dear brethren, if you haven’t experience paying your tithes or offering. Please take God challenges. “Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” (Malachi 3:10b).
God is faithful to His promises “God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill? I have indeed received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot change it.… (Numbers 23:19-20). Yes, hold on to God’s word and promises. Surely you will experience his amazing power and
