“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” (1John 4:7-8).
The Lord has reminded us from this scripture the importance of loving one another. If you do nor love then you don’t know God because God is love. Love is the most beautiful thing the Lord has given to us. When all of us obey this command then a life of joy is guaranteed! A life of peace and a life of harmony is achieved at home at church, and in our city. But Satan will not easily allow us to do it. He will do all his power to stop you from obeying God’s command, Satan will make you angry, jealous, proud, let you fall into sin and temptation, create strife and division in the church. Another effective tools that Satan always used effectively is unforgiveness. So make sure that you will not take the beat of Satan of not forgiving whatever grievances or sins your brother or sister have done to you.
The message of forgiveness is indeed especially important. Jesus ministry message is about love and forgiveness, and even when He was on the cross the first word that come out from him. Father forgive them for they do not know what they do. (Luke 23:34) After he resurrected, He appears to his disciples. He reminded his disciples to forgive one another sins. (John 20: 23)
Jesus teaching about forgiveness is important, why is that, because God wants you and me to have real love for people. Forgiving one another is the best the application of the Gods command of loving one another. Because real Love does not keep the records of wrong. (1Cor 13:5)
So my dear brother and sisters Let us love one another because this is the most beautiful thing God has given to us. This the best contribution we can give to our city. To be an example of love and forgive. I know it’s not easy to forgive. But It is the best thing you must do. If you say you love God. the scripture is noticeably clear. read this please “20 Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. (1Jonh 4:20). God bless us all.
