Nowadays almost all believers are excited to see revival in Hong Kong. Just like many modern revivals in the past started in 1727, 1792, 1830, 1857 and 1882 – they called it the “Awakening”. The 1904–1905 Welsh revival- A dramatic revival that happened in Wales, England.
Then comes the famous revival in the Azusa St, Los Angeles in 1906, lasted until 1915. And many other revivals come. All those revivals were spark of course by the Holy Spirit. A powerful moved of the Holy Spirit to every person desiring to know God more. I am not going into details those revival. I just want to make a point that if you study the life of those people being used by the Lord to have a citywide revival all those people already experience personal revival. Those people just like for example William J Seymour – the man used by the Lord for the Azusa Street Revival. – He himself and his team has been desiring, living and believing on the power of God to come upon them.
I Am 100% believing, God will revive Hong Kong and every people here being saved, awakened and bless. But before this thing could happen to Hong Kong, I do believe, we must be revived first then God will used us mightily. We all must live under the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Of course am assuming that everyone been a believers of Christ. Being dwelt by the Holy Spirit – that means:
1. You acknowledge your sins, repented, and receive Jesus Christ as you Lord, God and Savior. Experience being born again. (John 3:6-7)
2. Being filled by the Spirit -means Living a holy and obedient life… Ezekiel 36:27 “I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.”
3. Being filled by the Holy Spirit meaning You are living a life full of LOVE…. Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
I can give you more but I want you to focus first on three points having the evince of the Holy Spirit. I would like to encourage everyone “live by the Holy Spirit and be revived, then who knows you are the next person to be used by the Lord to begin the revival in Hong Kong. Hallelujah!
