3 June 2022 marks the 21st anniversary of our Sunrise Apostolic Centre.
First, I want to share the glory of God. According to human ability, we don’t have much financial strength or talent. But according to the principles of God’s work and the 21 years we have passed, we have seen many signs, wonders, and great things of God.
We recently settled not only 5 months of rent arrears, but also debts from past years. Moreover, we have also raised 20 middle school students. During the global pandemic, we continued to deliver meals, visit homeless and evangelize. People continue to come to pray at the Twelve Gates Prayer Room. The morning sacrifices and evening sacrifices also continue. These are all God's use of our little ones, and glory goes to Him!
On 3 June, in addition to our brothers and sisters, all the intercessors and elders in the city came to celebrate with us. Glory to Him!
Secondly, on the 21st anniversary, I would like to thank every brothers and sisters, leaders and co-workers who have contributed, having different nationalities - Filipinos, Indonesians, Africans, poor and rich, people with different educational backgrounds, kingdom intercessors, elders and colleagues in the city, working together to contribute to the revival of the kingdom of God and the city, so that God may be glorified!
Third, I would like to remind everyone that we are grownups. We are no longer children, but adults. Being an adult means that we can tell right from wrong (Ephesians 4:14), it also means that we not only receive, but we also can give and contribute (Ephesians 4:12). Build ourselves up from serving, and grow more (Ephesians 4:16) , and the ultimate goal of growth is to be like Jesus and to bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Joy can bear fruit and complete the Lord's great mission to the ends of the earth.
Therefore, in the days ahead, we will continue the 2030 vision, raising young people, promoting urban revival, extending overseas missions and establishing national apostolic centres. Finally, welcome the return of the Lord Jesus. Amen!
