In the first two weeks of the year 2024, different pastors and worship ministers at different gatherings have called onto the participants to confess their sins and repent carefully and in full reverence unto the Lord. To do so in detail. The Lord indeed requires an account of the past. Blessed be their messages, for it is pleasant to our souls. In my humble applause to this message, I have also always encouraged my brothers and sisters to make detailed and thorough confessions of their sins. However, with these messages from pastors and worshippers, together with the messages that I received from God when I prayed in the districts in January and February this year, I realized that God wants to lead Hong Kong a new road , and but the people of Hong Kong must confess their sins and repentance, and even acknowledge some of the sins and weaknesses that they were unwilling to face in the past, and to ask for forgiveness from the people whom they offended. We must persevere to nail old self at the cross, unceasingly renouncing our self-will. For unstable as water, we shall not excel.
At the end of January, God inspired us to visit the Victoria Peak. On the hill is the site of the anti-Japanese war known as the Pinewood Battery, where the last battle was fought before Hong Kong surrendered to Japan. Therefore, Pinewood Battery also symbolizes the tragic history of Hong Kong during the Japanese rule. For, instruments of unbearable cruelty was these Japanese soldiers’ habitation, wasn’t it. And on the opposite side of Victoria Peak is the Lion Rock. In the past decades, tragic event befell before the people of Hong Kong underneath the Lion Rock, one after another. However, God has released a message to us on the Peak ------ He has hearkened the cries of the Hong Kong people, just as He hearkened the cries of the Israelites (Exodus 6:5), and He wants to heal Hong Kong from the wounds of history. And God’s healing will make our bow abide in strength.
At the end of February, God inspired us to visit Cape D'Aguilar. The highest point of Cape D'Aguilar faces two places ------ One side faces Shek O Peak and the other side faces Stanley Prison. The Shek O Peak is a part of the history of deliverance of Hong Kong from Japanese oppression, the regaining of governance from Japan, and driving out the Japanese army. Stanley Prison is the highest-security prison in Hong Kong. It maintains a highest degree of vigilance. However, the purpose of the prison is not to imprison the prisoners, but to punish, correct and rehabilitate them. Therefore, the department that manages the prison is called the Correctional Services Department (CSD). God is releasing a message on triumphant victory and discipline to us. ------ If a person is to be renewed and transformed , and if he is to live a victorious life in Christ, he must first confess his sins thoroughly, and receive God's discipline.
Miracles overtake us after we confess our sin and weakness . I recently learned how to drive. At first, my driving instructor was a bit strict, for example, he would speak contemptuously against my weakness with strange language. After acknowledging my weakness with all my heart and responded to him with honor and smile, I just said "I admit it.” Since then, his speech was softer and he became more patient with me.
Dear brethren, after the above two visits to the district, an issue that has been a source of unusual discussion for Hong Kong people for more than 20 years, has finally been settled. This proves that God is leading Hong Kong into a new direction. Whether you and your family can receive the blessings of this new direction depends on whether you deal with your sins and weaknesses, acknowledge them, and be willing to accept other people's godly advice, be disciplined by God and be renewed by Him, or whether you will still look at your sins and weaknesses with the old eyes, turn a blind eye to them, do not acknowledge them, do not want to face them, and do not want to be disciplined by God and be renewed by Him. In Him, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according of the riches of his grace. Brethren, are you earnestly seeking a new you in Christ? Are you desirous of a renewed family relationship, work environment, financial situation, living environment, etc.? Then, nail your old self completely at the cross and live for Christ
