As Long As It Is Day

Brethren, peace be with you. Shall we count the days?. We have to thank God for His grace , and of the gladness of heart forever and ever! In fact, we have been using the North Point site for seven months, praise the Lord. We sought Him whom our souls love . We rejoiced for the consolation. Above all, may the Lord abide here with us.
Until this week, we are still in the process of upgrading our facilities. We were able to upgrade the air-conditioning system of our church because of earnest prayers and dedication from all of us, thank you to all of you. The ventilation is needful.
We believe that the upgrading of the hardware will continue so that we can build a more glorious temple. However, it is not just the hardware that makes the temple more glorious, it is us! We can work with God to bring more people into the kingdom of God and to know Christ, which is God's call to us.
May He unceasingly purify us.By faith we receive it.
It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord. Let the Lord purify us,make us white and try us.. May the Lord give us grace to persist to the end with patience and endurance. For the image we bear decides our destiny.
In John 9:4, it says, “As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."(New International Version, John 9:4-5)
Watchman Nee, the great Chinese evangelist, explained "day" to be the time when Christ was on earth, and "night" to be the day of His departure. But we can be sure that there is a time limit for doing the work, and there will be a time when we cannot do it, "before it is too late". Here we are exhorted to hold firm of that opportunity.
Not only do we need to work diligently, but we need to work in the right path, otherwise it will be futile. The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness;
Each of us is to bring people to the Lord, and the scripture that says we must do the work of the one who sent me represents our identity as having a mission goal, as if Jesus is willing to follow the Father's will, not His own, but to fulfill the work He has given us to do, and deny ourselves, lay down our own plans and follow Him
Take heed to our ways , brethren..Be alert. As the Lord make us know the measure of our days as sojourners on earth. The Lord ponder our hearts. As we enter into this new day, we must encourage each other and work diligently, trust on the Lord's words and commands, so that more people, especially the unbelievers, can greatly experience God's renewal and transformation, and enter into the Kingdom of God.
