First of all, wish brothers and sisters to have good improvement in New Year, good health and soul prosperity! Entering into the 2022 theme "Glorious Church" and to have a more glorious year!
Let's look at Mark 12:28-30 "One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given a good answer, he asked him, “of all the commandments, which is the most important?” “The most important one” answered Jesus, “is this: ’Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." When Jesus answered the teacher's question, he did not directly give him the first important answer, but reminded him," You should listen. The Lord, our God, is the only Lord.” This is definitely over his knowledge and clever.
In this dialogue, it is very important to know Jesus as the only Lord, thus breaking the thought of people who usually use mind to know God and entering the blessing of the truth. Jesus is the truth, the word become flesh, dead and resurrection, for people who believe Him to have grace can understand the glory of heavenly things, and these things have a deep relationship with us, Jesus help us on the human mindset, to accept his supreme holy love, we can in the most humble place of our heart, cry out sincerely: " Lord! Yes, you are my only Lord, please help me to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, with all our souls, with all our minds and all our strength.”
Genesis 13:14-15 “The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.” Abram (later named Abraham) received God’s profound divine blessing for later generations! Although Abraham, blessed with great fortune by God’s grace, was not necessarily a man who could release his blessings, God continued to inspire him. God asked him to look up to the east, west, north and south. Think about it, when everything before you saw will belong to you, will your mind be filled with all the things to be owned? Or do you remind yourself to be more sober? God wants Abraham to know God himself, is by promise and blessing, God wants him to have his vision and be broad minded, then can from the most humble place of bottom heart, willing to obey: " Lord! Yes, you are God, is faithful; keeping his covenant and give love to those who love him and keep his commands, until a thousand generations!"(Deuteronomy. 7:9)
May all brothers and sisters in the New Year, to go in deeper humility to know God and learn obedience, let God himself show His glory in the Church! Amen!
