A brother from the Mainland said, “It delights our soul to raise funds for the church, while the at the same time, pray walk, watch over the district, our beloved city and nations. Out of our mouth proceeded words of joy and blessings sown in peace! This year's May 1 Walkathon was held in the rain, .We count it all joy which endure. The weather forecast for May 1 was with heavy rain and thunderstorm warnings ! Not only did no one suggest canceling or rescheduling the event, but we met on time at the Tai Po Market Station, As our souls are united, the Lord stablish our heart. We drew nigh unto the Lord in one accord. Yes, we did.
To our pleasant surprise, the rainstorm was weakened considerably. Thank God for answering our prayer, the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much. In the morning of May 1, it was raining lightly in Tai Po and the shower of Grace from God purifies our souls. The rain and the mud may leave stain on our shoes, but we are thankful for His constant reminder to keep ourselves unspotted from the world (by the power of the living God.)
The heaven brought rain and the earth bring forth her fruit, as well as our fruit of life. Along the path, we admonish each other; tasting the goodness of our fellowship with the Lord abiding in Christ.
As we walk along the path, with the King of kings , our Lord of lords. He transforms our mind, we are all the more eager to become doers of the Word, not hearer of the Word, delivering us from deception. With much assurance, we believe we shall be blessed in our deeds.
Deuteronomy 32:1&4
"Listen, you heavens, and I will speak; hear, you earth, the words of my mouth."
He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.
May the word of God soften our hearts with showers, reviving us, and like the deer pants for water brooks, so pant our souls after Thee , We will be doers of the Word, not only hearers of the Word.
