Our church held two series of special meetings this month, both of which impressed me much.. During the 12 nights of special meetings led by Ps Ronnie, he told us how he went forth and offered about HK$2,000, to our church without saying a word to provide for our financial needs. Indeed he has made a hedge for us. Besides, he mentioned the price he paid for coming to Hong Kong was beyond money can measure. He had to lay down his family and everything else in his hometown for a while. Nevertheless, he did not feel bad about the cost. Instead, thanked God for the opportunity to give to Him and the blessings that came with it. For Ps Ronnie has set his affection to bless Hong Kong, hasn't he?
I had a similar experience. During the Apostle Grace team's stay in Hong Kong, I was responsible for hosting them and handling their travel needs. I had to struggle through because I had other ministries to attend to. But knowing that this might be a God-given opportunity, I gave it a try. It was quite hard for the first few days. Thank God I did not follow my own spirit. comes a pleasant surprise- the private teaching moments given by Apostle Grace to my wife and I will ever be gratefully acknowledged. Moreover, our souls take delight in his personal prayers for us, as well. Indeed, we are thankful for the Lord’s peculiar treasure hidden in our brethren from Uganda. For our heavenly Father abide in me doing the work. In the end, I realized that the blessing, teaching, and joy that this opportunity to serve brought to my wife and me. So, we can never out give God, can we?
My wife and I were strengthened, stablized and encouraged. .Although I was out early and came home late every day, I was able to experience what Apostle Grace has shared in this teaching: "the more humble a person is, the more he would be used by God. This is the truth. But more than that, here also comes a pleasant surprise- the private teaching moments given by Apostle Grace to my wife and I will ever be gratefully acknowledged. Brothers and sisters, I encourage you to embrace every opportunity to give for God, whether it is in mon５ey, time, physical strength, or mental strength For God bless you with an upliftment, a blessed upliftm５ent, and an upliftment of ministry mentality. I discover a deep secret of His working. He expounds it to my inner man. Brothers and sisters, " Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death,[a] and of faith in God, ... 10 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.. " (Heb. 6:1, 10). God never forget what you５ have given.
My encounter with God as written above, give me a fresh insight - will our souls be flooded with joy as we learn and discover from Christ Jesus the secret of true work for God? This is a sure promise from the Lord, isn’t it?＊＊
