Good morning Church and a very warm welcome to this service, to our visitors today thank you for coming along to celebrate with us this day that the lord has made, lets rejoice in it.
As we come to the presence of God today I just want to remind ourselves that, In our contemporary world, there is a growing sense that we are living in an evil day. The Lord Jesus tell us in Luke 12; 54 He said to the crowd: “When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, ‘It’s going to rain,’ and it does. 55 And when the south wind blows, you say, ‘It’s going to be hot,’ and it is. 56 Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don’t know how to interpret this present time?
This is not just a perception but a reality arising from the numerous societal challenges and moral crises that surround us. From the prevalence of Social Disintegration to Violence and Crimes, Wars, Floods, Earthquakes, and many things that the lord Jesus tell us to watch out for as signs for His return.
One of the most prominent factors of living in the end times is the technological advancements that have become an integral part of our daily lives. From smartphones that connect us instantly to people around the world, to social media platforms that provide a global stage for anyone to share their thoughts, technology has undoubtedly reshaped the way we live. While these advancements have undoubtedly brought numerous benefits, they have also created new challenges and complexities.
