We just started yesterday our strategic camp meeting. It was started with a worship followed by the teaching of Pastor Gary about the Apostolic Center. The sharing from Dance Ministry, The Healing Team, Spiritual Fitness, Song of Songs, Isaac [Family Group] the SHOP, and the Mission Team were just so exciting. And everyone was excited to hear from other zones too, which will continue Saturday and finished it on Sunday evening. If you have not participated yet, come, and join the excitement talking about the next 10 years of Sunrise.
This Strategic meeting is very important for us to cope and adjust to what was going on the world today. We need to have strategy to accomplish God’s mission for us. The bible encourages us to plan. “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? 29 For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, [Luke 14:28-29]. The world is totally changing – our plan last year most of them was not done due to Covid 19. Now we need to plan and strategized how to overcome different kinds of obstacles. So, Gods’ mission to us will not be affected much.
Yesterday opening meeting was so encouraging to me, seeing our leaders’ passion and desire to do something for God. Praise the Lord for all of you.
To all leaders, keep serving – “58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain”. [1Corinthians 15:58]. Your serving shows your love to Jesus. You become an example to your family, relatives, friends and to the brethren. You are glorifying God in your life.
But mind you, that the Satan will come and confuse you, create a doubt in your heart, he will tell many lies to you. That when you are reading the Word of God, “he will tell you it’s’ not true.’ And He will tempt you a lot. But the scripture says, stand firm, let nothing move you [1Cor 15:58]. Overcome the attack of Satan by choosing to fully give yourself to God and serving him. Hallelujah!
Keep serving, keep trusting, Keep sharing Jesus love to others, Keep praying and keep worshiping Jesus in your life – God bless you all.
