For today, I have used James 1:17 – 21 to share the words of pastor. God gave birth to us with the truth, and is a powerful thing – not the birth of a theory, but a new life in the kingdom of God, full of new energy and vitality. God has predestined “ If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation...”, He has a better plan for us, and what he wants to give us must be better than we can imagine.
James 1:17-21“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the Heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might a kind of first fruits of all he created. My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.”
It is mentioned in verse 17 that a person who is born by the truth can receive the gifts from the above and the full rewards. We are accustomed to doing things by our own ability, but become powerless, because we can never achieve God's beautiful will. God blesses us to understand the truth, be free, and become people who listen to the truth and can do it. Practitioners have the ability to:
1. Understand the problem of the soul and deal with your own weaknesses;
2. Knowing the problem of sin and repenting can get rid of the filth and surplus evil;
3. Be guided by the Holy Spirit to do the right thing in the right way;
4. To obey and follow God;
5. Practice God commandments and love your neighbor as yourself;
6. Live a holy life.
It is necessary to establish the habit of reading God's words every day. We must read God's words into our hearts, accept them with a gentle heart, and practice them joyfully. His words can make our spiritual life full of power and life transformed. Encourage you to read God's words more, participate in the fire of reading scriptures, group devotions, morning prayer readings at the 12 gates, etc. You will understand God's will better, obtain the authority and ability to serve others, and have joy and satisfaction! Amen!
