The Lord is leading us to bring into light to you all about our Apostolic Centre, in this season you will be hearing from our ministers sharing more about this subject. Members of Sunrise family as an Apostolic Centre need to fully understand this mandate given to us by the Lord.
Since the inception of Christianity, the role of an apostle has been vital in spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ. While traditionally associated with the original twelve disciples, the concept of apostleship has evolved in the present age. Today, being an apostle requires a deep commitment to faith and an unwavering dedication to fulfilling the Great Commission. (Mathew 28:18-20) 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
However, it is important to acknowledge that the challenges faced by modern apostles are unique to our time. The call to apostleship remains fundamentally unchanged, as it is centred on proclaiming the Gospel and making disciples of all nations. Christians are still called to be witnesses to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The apostle's mission is to spread the good news, build and strengthen communities of believers,
