According to the daddy scriptures reading list, read the last chapter of Job this Tuesday. God only answered Job from chapter 38 of Job onward, and answered him from whirlwind; in Chapter 42, Job received the double blessing of God. Although several friends debated, judged and criticized Job's suffering, they still failed to explain the reason for suffering and Job could not why he suffered so much because of hos godliness. Not only did he not get the encouragement words and comfort of his friends, but he was deeply hurt. In the end, through God's holy and awesome response, Job truly understood: God is the most important thing and it is enough.
Job 41:11” Who has a claim against me that I must pay? Everything under Heaven belongs to me.” God is in charge of all things and only he fully knows why good people are in trouble.
Job's response to God in Job 42:3 “Who is this that obscures your counsel without knowledge? Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.” Job finally admitted that he was ignorant and to dare to ask God's sovereignty. He regretted his wrong attitude in the dust and ashes.
We have face different degree of pressures in life, daily life, interpersonal relationship, study, work, etc., more or less. If a person has been in pain and hardship for a long time, it is like falling into an abyss and struggling hard. However, God can definitely speak to people in the abyss and show his love and mercy. No doubting God's sovereignty, and believing in God's omnipotent is the key to Job's victory. Do not allow the work of enemy to separate you from the love of God! Difficulties and hardship is the opportunities for us to seek God's help and by knowing God deeply, we can learn to forgive and even pray for the those who hurt us.
