During my prayer and meditation God empress in my heart to remind you all about the true. I believe that this is a very important topic we have to talk. Today we need to learn, to know and I understand. What is true religion that Jesus mention in the Bible.
According to Deuteronomy 10:12 and now, O Israel what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to work in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. True religions must be founded on Jesus alone. Teach people to love him and him alone.
Another verse I want to share is in James 1 : 27 “Religion that God our father accepts as pure and faultless is this, to look after orphans and widows in their distress have to keep one self from being polluted by the world”.
The definitions of Jesus regarding the true religion is very clear from these two verses that we had mentioned in Deut. 10: 12 and James 1: 27. By this definition of true religion then we have qualify to that description. For the record Sunrise has been very involve in helping the asylum seekers in Hong Kong. Equipping and training them in the Word of God through DMM. Pastor Carrie ministry to the old folks at MRC is having amazing results. Not only that our team was very engage in Evangelism at the park sharing the gospel to those street dwellers, and homeless people around Yau Ma tie and many other places and eventually these people comes to MRC to be blessed.
May be some may comment why we do this ministry? It will drain our resources. But I tell you, we do this ministry because we are a true church and we practice the true religions. We have so many different nationalities in our church. And we love them dearly.We are giving people lots of favor without expecting return from them.
In conclusion I urge you my dear brethren, Let us love this Church, pray for our Church, Support our Church in everything. This is our Spiritual home from t he Lord. Oh by the way the head of our Church is Jesus Christ. “And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, [Ephesians 1:22]”
Lastly please include in your Pastor Jimmy and family as they were positive for Covid. At the moment Pastor and Family were in Lebanon doing mission.
