Isaiah 29:16 “You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, “You did not make me”? Can the pot say to the potter, “You know nothing”?
As I read the scripture, could not help but confess to God people’s pride and arrogance. When people have unique talents, it would be terrible to exalt themselves, deny God’s creation and turn things upside down. May God forgive us for our ignorance.
When I think of this, in the spirit I saw a big sculpture with high artistic value and craftsmanship. Then I saw the earth shook, it was then turned into a pile of mud on the ground, it was so vulnerable.
I heard a voice saying, no ingenious concept or design can craft out the holiness of God. God’s holiness is supreme! Human’s artwork is not eternal, only the unparallel sacrificial love of Jesus on the cross can touch eternal and allows me to understand the truth and touch eternal. God’s love and faithfulness last forever and never changes!
Brothers and sisters, may God mold us with a humble heart, always think about the how profound creation of God, his grace and favor are, and be grateful. Because He is the God that creates our life! Amen!
