Christ is the head of the church (Eph. 5:23), and we (the church) are the body of Christ.
Being members of His body abiding in Him, we, henceforth, need to put forth our hands and help each other according to the function of each part so that the body of Christ can grow strong and fulfill the mission that God has entrusted to the church. Brethren, remember always, Christ leads forth His Church.
When we are members of the same body, it means that each of us has our own unique abilities and functions, and no one can replace the other. The strength of the church is not based on individual strength alone, but requires the gifts of each member of the church to complement each other in order for the whole body to be strengthened.
Therefore, we need to recognize the various gifts that God has given to the members of the church, and then we need to be equipped to fan into flames our gifts. And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: ( Ephesians 4:11-12)
God has given grace to the church the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers in order to equip believers and build up the body of Christ.
Brothers and sisters, God does not show favoritism, He does not only give grace to full-time workers, but He will give gifts and abilities to everyone who is willing to be part of the building of God's family and Kingdom. You are encouraged to reach out to your district pastor/shepherd to learn more about the types of gifts God has given you, and to be equipped to function as a member of the body of Christ, so that the church can be built up.
